700 Instagram posts printed on edible paper, the equivalent of thirty minutes of scrolling.

Set around a dinner table, 30 Minute Scroll is a performance video in which I physically consume social media posts. The work draws a parallel between our habitual consumption of digital media and the ritual of sitting down for a meal.

By transforming a passive digital experience into a tangible, edible one, the work invites a slower, more conscious form of consumption.


I designed, set up and filmed the entire performance myself, with technical assistance for the lighting installation.
